Hey! My name’s Betsy and I’m a Sophomore at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. This spring I will be studying abroad in Thailand, and I wanted to keep everyone at home posted about the adventures I will be experiencing. The program I will be studying through is called ISDSI (International Sustainable Development Studies Institute) and it is a program based on sustainable studies in rural Thailand. Through the process of learning about sustainable studies, I will also be learning about how living sustainably affects the people and the cultures of this beautiful country. In terms of support, prayer is always appreciated; prayer for safe travels, for a fruitful experience for me and my group as we will be going out of our comfort zone and learning about life, and prayers that God will make me humble and willing to learn from those wiser than me.
